Book Review:

Looking for book recommendations? Well if you are, then you have come to the right place! I have made a list of all of my favourite books for you. Obviously, not everyone will have the same taste in books as me- most of these books are aimed at girls ages 9 to 18- but I do know a lot of people reading my blog are in that age gap so I hope this will be helpful!

FRONT DESK BY KELLY YANG- 5 star

This book series is one of my personal favourites. Mia- the main character- reminds me a lot of myself. Kelly Yang's books tackle a wide range of interesting subjects such as racism and adaptation to a whole new culture. Mia and the book itself are bold and special with a unique charm.

GEEK GIRL BY HOLLY SMALE- 5 star

This was such an interesting read for me. Geek Girl is about a journey of transformation but also reminding you that nothing can change who you are. It is funny and witty and I definitely recommend to teenage girls- I just couldn't get enough of it!

GIRL (IN REAL LIFE) BY TAMSIN WINTER-5 star

Again- I absolutely loved this one! I thought that it was a very interesting story from a perspective that we don't often consider. Tamsin Winter is a very perceptive author- I often wish I had written her stories!

MISS NOBODY BY TAMSIN WINTER-4 star

A story about school bullies, the danger of the internet and finding your voice. It has a lot of heart. But I also think this is one of the saddest books I have ever read! Still a worthwhile read with an important message.

JEMIMA SMALL VS THE UNIVERSE BY TAMSIN WINTER-5 star

Another amazing read by Tamsin Winter! This is an important story about body-confidence and perseverance. It makes you laugh but it also makes you think. I read this over and over again and it can never get old.

WONDER BY R.J. PALACIO- 5 star... and more.

I thought that this book was beautiful. It is very well crafted, funny and heart-breaking. This is a special story that everyone should read. You could be 8 or 80 and still find as much joy from this book.

ELLA ON THE OUTSIDE BY CATH HOWE- 5 star

This was a great read in my opinion. I loved Ella! It is a sweet story about starting a new life with a terrible secret. It is about finding your own voice and ignoring 'friends' who try to change you.

AGATHA ODDLY BY LENNA JONES- 5 star

I seriously LOVE these books. I totally recommend them if you are into mystery stories like me. They are funny, witty and strange, I like how they are always taking unexpected twists!

SCARLET AND IVY BY SOPHIE CLEVERLY- 5 star

Again- if you are into mysteries, this one is for you! This series is about the strange, unsettling and mysterious adventures of two sisters. I found this a gripping read with all sorts of surprising twists and turns. It does have an element of darkness to it though...

LOTTIE BROOKS BY KATIE KIRBY- 5 star

This is certainly already a favourite among teenage girls. It's a nice light and funny read which is guaranteed to make you laugh! It is a good book for giving you an idea of secondary school and other events in the life of a typical teenage girl.

Thank you for reading this post! I hope that this has been helpful to you and if you have any good book recommendations it would be great if you left them in the comments!!!
